My little Turkey!

Yesterday my awesome sister-in-law gave me the idea for a turkey hat and I became obsessed! I think it turned out so dang cute that I had to share! By the way, I guess my little turkey thinks that turkeys growl because that's what he's doing! LOL

We've got heads covered, now it's time for feet!

So I started making baby booties years ago and I realized I've never put them on here for all to see! I make all kinds of different booties with matching headbands, here are just a few examples of my most recent creations.

One unfortunate thing is most of these designs are not really gender neutral, clearly they're quite girly. I've really struggled with finding booty patterns for boys that aren't frilly.

A New Adventure: Blankets and Bibs and Burp Cloths, Oh My!

Hats are fun and all but there are only so many a girl can make before she starts to go nuts! I've recently embarked on a new adventure in craft land that I'm super excited about! Every baby needs a cute burp cloth to puke on don't they?

All items are made from super soft flannel with a cotton crochet trim.

I haven't actually completed a bib yet but I'll post pictures when I get one done. It'll be a slightly larger than standard sized bib with velcro closure and of course will be super cute!

The blankets are 40" X 40" and are also super cute

The burp cloths are the things that I've been focusing on so I had something to show you. Right now I've got 6 different fabrics, 3 boy and 3 girl. It's really hard to find gender neutral but I'm still on the search and I'll let you know when I find some.

A set of 2 burp cloths and a bib will be $25 with $3 for shipping

Blankets will be $35 with $4 for shipping

I'm pretty obsessed with this fabric. In fact I've bought all of it that exists in the state and there is no more to order from the warehouse. So this one there is limited quantities because I'm also saving some for myself in case I ever have a girl and when the fabric is gone, it's gone. Back in Business!

So I've decided to re-open the doors for my crochet hats and such! I'm still not really supposed to crochet but I figure since I'm going to have to have surgery any way, can I really do any more damage? As long as I don't get the crazy rush of orders that I did over Christmas, I should be fine. Plus I really miss crocheting and am looking forward to trying out some new patterns.

Here's one of my most recent patterns. It's called a "Newsgirl" and will be the same pricing as the Newsboy. This particular one I did a ribbon butterfly but can also do any type of decoration or none at all, just a bow.

I'm so sad to say that for the time being, I'm not able to accept any hat orders. I've been having wrist problems and have been told by my doctor that I have tendinitis and an unidentified mass for which I'll be seeing a orthopedic surgeon the beginning of March. After that appointment I'll know more about what's going on and how quickly I'll be back in business but in the mean time I've been ordered not to crochet! :(

All my items are lovingly handmade. Most are made with super soft 100% cotton yarn. Any of the hats shown can be made in any size, any colors and with or without ear flaps. If a hat looks a little to masculine or feminine, adjustments can be made to rectify that as well. If there's a design or animal that you're interested in that you don't see here, I'm always open to suggestions, custom orders are definitely welcome! There is no extra charge for custom orders, different colors or sizes.

The months of October, November and December are high volume times for me and waiting periods for your hats to be completed could be as long as a month.
